Mark Child Senior Research Analyst, Software & Enterprise Solutions IDC CEMA
Mark Child joined IDC CEMA in February 2004 as an editor. After a year of grounding himself in the output of each department, he joined the software group as a research analyst in March 2005. He now works on software market studies, consulting projects, and quarterly software trackers.
Prior to joining IDC, Mr. Child worked in the Online Division of the Prague Business Journal. He also served as a researcher and editor at market research firm NFO AISA (now part of the TNS Group); this included a stint at partner company NFO Infratest, in London.
Mr. Child holds a B.Sc. in Biology and Geography from University of Brighton.
